Steven D. Smallwood is the founder of Trading Life Publishing, a publishing company dedicated to helping new and aspiring authors turn their ideas into meaningful published books with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

A retired U.S. Navy veteran and former leader at American Airlines, Steven has spent his career helping people grow, first through leadership and mentorship, and now through publishing and creative guidance.

As an author, speaker, podcaster, and leadership consultant, Steven believes every great book begins with a story worth sharing. Through Trading Life Publishing, his mission is to help individuals move beyond hesitation and transform their life experiences into words that encourage, inspire, and make a lasting impact.
